I don’t sweat, I Glisten

The sun has been out and shinning all day long! PLEASE STAY THAT WAY!

I was on my way to the bus and thought that it was SO warm I could have ran outside. But then the wind started blowing slightly and I was on my way anyhow so I figured whatever. But I certainly could have been hitting the asphalt.

So I got to the gym and things didn’t look to well. While at the changing room I realised I forgot my sports bra (so I ended up using the one I came in with) and my lip balm was forgotten at home! That is a tragedy to me! I sleep with my lip balm under my pillow! I was considering taking a bus to the pharmacy down the road but I just had 45 minutes at the gym if I wanted to catch the bus home so I told myself I’ll have to survive.

Once I went inside the room was pretty packed (more than usual) and BOTH TREADMILLS WERE TAKEN. So instead I did the following:

  • 15 minutes on the sweatmaster
  • 10 minutes on the Cardio Wave
  • Another 8 minutes or so on the treadmill (finally free!) running @ 11 km/hour. I was SO out of breath! Why is it so hard for me to run faster?!?

Its really hard for me to do another form of cardio that is not running, but I did enjoy the other two machines, especially cause I felt really strong while pushing myself. It was hard to reach a high HR on them! With running its just legs and hands moving and the HR is just a natural consequence. I also really felt my legs working! Especially from my knee downwards.

Strength

I did about 10 minutes of abs + stretching. Here is today’s routine:

  • 100 crunches on the stability ball
  • 50 reverse crunches
  • 2×50 crossed leg crunch, 50 per each leg

Surprisingly, I did not feel the burn on the stability ball until the last 20 crunches or so(and I am usually really sore).

I just finished lunch an hour or so ago but am STILL starving. I am gonna grab an apple later.
