Guys, the Four Seasons was GORGEOUS!!
WOW! I am really impressed. And they were super nice too! I wish I had my camera with me to take pictures, but I think everybody else would figure I am a little weird. So here is what I’ll do instead; I will just link it to the site and you can see it for yourselves!
First off, I met with my friend earlier in town and she really wanted to have coffee at Allegro Bar (the hotel’s restaurant and bar). I recall that my dad told me he had business lunches/dinners there, and that it was very expensive, so I was a little hesitant. Well, she said she is inviting, so I thought whatever….
So we got there about 20 minutes before our tour and had some cappuccino which was served with cookies that I did not touch cause I started feeling nauseous. They also serve you with some sparkling water so that helped a little.
Once done at the coffee store, we met their Hotel Manager, a very nice lady from Australia called Sonia. She was super friendly and informative. We then had a long lecture from their training and development manager who lived in the US for a while…see it had to relate to our management course!
Then we had the TOUR! We went to the Premier Suite which had the most amazing view of Prague Castle (gorgeous at night!) and then we saw another one of their Renaissance Rooms which was very elegant. Although personally I am not such a fan of this style…We also saw one of the standard rooms.
Oh and the Suite had a TV in the bathroom and overall, the entire hotel had Louis Vuitton everywhere! Catalogues in the rooms, displays in the lobby…wow!
We also got to go to the kitchen!! We met with the Executive Chef who is a real celebrity here in Europe! His name is Andrea Accordi and he is from Italy. He worked in the Four Seasons hotels in London, Saint Tropez and Switzerland amongst others. He also received the Michelin Award twice (it’s a very prestigious award for restaurants in Europe; when he received it here in Prague last year, it was the first time an Eastern-Block restaurant received this award!)
So all in all this was a great trip! What can I say….a girl can dream!
The Gym
I wanted to do 5×800 meters today for speed workout but I couldn’t be bothered to stop and run stop and run etc. so I decided to do this instead:
- Warm up for 2 minutes @ 6 km/hour
- Run 10 minutes @ 11 km/hour
- Walk 5 minutes @ 6.5 km/hour
- Run 10 minutes @ 11 km/hour
- Cool down for 2 minutes
Here are the stats:

I had to constantly stop because Polar was not working today. At all. So bear in mind, my stats are probably just WRONG! Seriously, Polar people better come up with an improvement or I am switching to Garmin (Bobbi, I know you have it, so I will follow your steps J).
Here are my walking stats, minus the constant stopping (I also walked a little bit more after the cool down)

I already knew you live in the Czech Republic, but do you live in Prague? Prague is so beautiful! One of the nicest European cities I’ve visited.
